Daebak Interns: A trip to Miryang, Korea
Five Must-Visit Christmas Markets in Korea 2023
1. A trip to Miryang, Korea
The Daebak interns were invited to Miryang (밀양), located in the south of Korea, in Gyeongsangnam-do Province.
Maria, one of our Daebak Interns, shared her experience: “Miryang was awesome! It’s a very old city with loads of history—over 500 years worth. We stayed in an amazing traditional Hanok (한옥) for our workcation and even had a traditional tea ceremony in the morning.
The host has been doing it for over 23 years. The traditional food was good too. Tried 돼지국밥 (traditional soup with pork) which is the local fave, and it was delicious. Our work spot threw in a free art exhibition, which was a cool surprise.
Then, in the evening, we walked up to the Yeongnamnu Pavilion in a temple, enjoying the night vibes. Miryang’s got this perfect mix of history, culture, and tasty eats.”
If you're seeking a unique escape from the city, we highly recommend a visit to Miryang! Feel free to reach out to us for some insider tips on local addresses. 😎
